Where are we located?
At present, we have 1 depot in Melton (VIC) at 43-67 Ferris Rd, Cobblebank. Our placement allows quick access to the M8 Western Freeway to head towards the city, M1 Westgate & Princes Freeways and M80 Ring Road, or west toward Ballarat and Horsham.
What do we offer?
West Traffic is a full service Traffic Management company. What does this mean? It means that we can provide all the Traffic Management from start to finish. This includes, but is not limited to, Preparing Traffic Management Plans, obtaining Permits from both VicRoads and Council, Deploying Variable Message Sign (VMS) Trailers for advance notice of works/events, Letter-box drops to communicate to local residents/businesses about the upcoming works/events and Setting up and monitoring the Traffic Management for your works/events.
What assets do we have?
We currently have:
- 6 Utilities (Utes) with Vehicle Mounted Arrowboard and Variable Message Sign (VMS)
- 3 Utilities (Utes) without Arrowboard or VMS (Pending Upgrades)
- 1 Truck Mounted Attenuator
Are we VicRoads Accredited?
Yes! West Traffic is VicRoads Accredited (under the new scheme) for Traffic Management Design (TMD) Categories 1, 2 and 3, and Traffic Management Implement (TMI) Categories 1, 2 and 3. What does this mean? It means that we do not have any restrictions on roads that we can prepare Traffic Management Plans or set up Traffic Management. For you, this means that you can trust us to be able to deliver your works/events on any road that you wish to work on.
